Desmotec professional training equipment
Isoinertial training is based on the principle that muscular work is done in both the shortening and lengthening phases, and adapts the resistance accordingly in a continuous manner: the result is a workout of shorter duration, which causes less cardiopulmonary strain, and which does not create a risk of injury, but rather promotes muscle regeneration.
PlaySight SmartCourt video analysis system
The system consists of a series of HD cameras installed all around the court, so that a match – or training session – can be captured from all possible angles. In real time, the images captured in this way are analysed by an Artificial Intelligence system that captures and monitors the player’s movements, power and speed of the shots, trajectory, rotation and positioning of the ball, and elaborates precise game statistics from this data, allowing the player and coach to focus their attention on the critical points to be improved. Each recording is visible in real time on a video totem on the side-lines, and is stored in the player’s account so that statistics and performance can be studied at any time from any device.
The use of the Playsight video analysis system is available on request to all members, and is included in all Competitive programmes of our courses.
Tennis racket stringing
In addition to the specific type of stringing, 2 or more often 4 knots as now required by hybrid strings, the string tension setting itself is of paramount importance, which goes beyond personal preference and has a clear impact on playing performance. In addition to depending on the frame and string spacing, tension will need to be adjusted, either by lowering it to increase power (at the cost of a higher dish) or by raising it to ensure the highest level of control (but decreasing comfort and speed).
Our professional stringers are members of the Italian Racquet Stringers Association (IRSA), to offer club members the highest level of service.
Pro Shop
At the A-Rete Tennis Club there is a Pro-Shop always open for members, where you can buy the best equipment to take your game to the highest level. A-Rete offers its members top quality in the sector, such as Tecnifibre rackets and Dunlop balls, and allows you to rent ball machines for your training sessions.
